Job Description
The Warehouse Officer will manage daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, and distributing materials. They will ensure accurate inventory management, lead a warehouse team, enforce health and safety compliance, and maintain the organization’s warehouse management system. This role is critical in supporting the logistical needs of the organization’s programs and operations.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse
Maintain and update inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS)
Ensure proper receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods
Monitor and report on stock levels and inventory movements
Enforce compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards
Supervise and train warehouse staff to optimize performance
Conduct regular audits and stock reconciliations
Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure efficient flow of supplies
Resolve discrepancies and manage warehouse-related issues promptly

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in warehouse management or a related role
Competencies:
Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS)
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
In-depth knowledge of inventory control and compliance regulations
Familiarity with health and safety regulations in warehousing
