Job Description
The Battery Swap Executive will manage the operations of assigned battery swapping stations. This includes conducting quick and accurate battery swaps, supporting customers with app usage and inquiries, and reporting any technical or operational issues to supervisors. The role demands attention to safety protocols, record-keeping (power consumption, attendance, and daily summaries), and providing tech assistance to users. The Executive must be proactive in station upkeep, quality checks, and communicating battery demand trends due to usage fluctuations. Flexibility and a service-driven mindset are essential.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Complete battery swaps within two minutes while ensuring excellent customer service
Report any customer issues or escalations to the supervisor for immediate action
Submit daily duty reports including attendance, power usage, and swap summaries
Inform the supervisor of technical or safety concerns regarding batteries, chargers, or the station
Track and report increasing battery swap needs due to rising demand
Perform routine quality checks on station functionality and safety
Assist customers with mobile app usage and provide tech support
Take on other duties as needed based on operational requirements

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
KCSE Certificate or Vocational/Technical training in a related field
Prior customer service experience is an advantage
Basic knowledge of EV (electric vehicle) battery or charging systems is a plus
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently under pressure
Attention to detail and focus on safety and operational accuracy
Flexibility to work in shifts and extended hours when necessary
