Job Description
The Waiter/Waitress will greet and seat guests, present menus, provide recommendations, take accurate food and drink orders, serve meals, and process payments. They will also assist in setting up tables, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards. Additionally, they will collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth dining experience for customers.

How to Apply
Greet and escort customers to their tables.
Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and portion sizes.
Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses.
Inform customers about daily specials and offer menu recommendations.
Take and process food and drink orders accurately.
Communicate order details to the kitchen staff.
Serve food and beverages in a professional and timely manner.
Ensure that dishes, glassware, and utensils are clean and well-presented.
Maintain table settings and a tidy dining area.
Deliver bills, collect payments, and handle cash register operations when required.
Clear tables and transport used dishes to the kitchen for cleaning.
Participate in team meetings to discuss menu updates, daily specials, and service improvements.
Comply with health and safety regulations.
Provide excellent customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:
Minimum of Senior Six (S.6).
A degree is an added advantage.
Experience:
No prior experience is required, but previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress is an added advantage.
Key Skills:
Customer service skills with attentiveness and patience.
Basic math skills for handling payments.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Teamwork and flexibility to work in shifts.
Experience with a cash register or ordering system (e.g., Revel POS or Toast POS) is an advantage.
