Job Description
Job Title: Unit Manager
Organisation: Future Options Consulting Ltd
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for achieving business growth by meeting business targets. This involves managing and developing the unit with the aim of ensuring business growth, through building and maintaining the unit as per set targets.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Recruitment:
The Unit Manager shall recruit and maintain an Agency force as per agreed parameters.
Ensuring that all Agents are licensed as per IRA licensing guidelines and they all have valid licenses.
Training:
Train, coach and mentor the Agency force in order to improve performance and cohesion within the department.
Ensure that the Agents are knowledgeable of the Company’s risk apetite, credit policy, internal policies and controls plus other regulatory requirements / compliance.
Profitability:
Monitor the performance of the Agency force business to ensure that it meets or exceeds set targets.
Ensure that all premiums are collected in line with the credit control policy.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum of Diploma in related discipline
COP
Details of experience
At least 3 years relevant experience
Knowledge, skills and competences
Sales skills
Interpersonal and communication skills
