Job Description
Nyenga Eco Resort is seeking talented, passionate, and creative Chefs to join its growing culinary team. The chefs will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining excellent kitchen standards, ensuring food safety, and contributing to the development of exciting, eco-conscious menus. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled culinary professionals to work in a vibrant, nature-centered hospitality environment.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present a wide range of dishes to high standards
- Assist in menu planning, including local, continental, and specialty cuisines
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation in the kitchen
- Monitor stock levels, manage food supplies, and minimize wastage
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and resort quality standards
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely food service
- Maintain kitchen equipment and report any maintenance needs
- Contribute creative ideas to enhance guest dining experiences
- Perform any other kitchen-related duties assigned by management
