Job Description
Reporting to the Trade and Industry Department, the intern will provide technical and administrative support in trade promotion, industrial development programs, and enforcement of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks. The position offers practical exposure to economic development initiatives, industrial policy, and trade facilitation in Makueni County.

How to Apply
Assist in research and analysis on trade, industry, and investment opportunities.
Support the implementation of trade and industrial policies, strategies, and projects.
Help in compiling and maintaining data on trade, manufacturing, and industrial activities.
Provide administrative support in stakeholder engagement forums and county trade fairs.
Support monitoring and evaluation of trade and industrial development initiatives.
Assist in preparation of reports, briefs, and presentations for the department.
Ensure compliance with county and national laws governing trade and industry.
Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines:
Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Electrical or Electronics, OR
Business Communication and Information Technology (BCIT), OR
Law (LLB).
Strong research, analytical, and report-writing skills.
Proficiency in computer applications.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to learning.
