Job Summary
MOGO Uganda is looking for highly motivated and strategic Territory Area Managers to oversee and drive sales performance across the Lango, Karamoja, and West Nile sub-regions. This role is responsible for leading a team of Field Sales Managers, developing territory-specific strategies, and ensuring alignment with the overall sales goals of the company.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and execute territory-specific sales strategies to meet and exceed growth targets.
Analyze customer behavior, market dynamics, and competitor activity to inform decision-making and guide strategy adjustments.
Lead, mentor, and support Field Sales Managers to ensure optimal team performance and delivery of KPIs.
Conduct regular team performance reviews, providing actionable feedback and support for continuous improvement.
Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs), adjusting strategies to optimize results.
Foster and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues within the territory.
Identify training and development needs of Field Sales Managers and implement capacity-building initiatives to enhance sales execution and product knowledge.
Manage and resolve team and customer conflicts, providing innovative solutions to improve outcomes and ensure smooth operations.
Collaborate closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure alignment of sales activities with broader business objectives.
Set achievable sales goals for teams and individuals, and drive performance through incentive programs and performance recognition.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field from a recognized institution.
A Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing or related discipline is an added advantage.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales, preferably within a structured and target-driven environment.
Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role in sales is a significant advantage.
