Job Purpose

The Sales & Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving business growth by securing new clients, managing lead generation, and converting prospects into long-term partnerships. This role goes beyond traditional sales, playing a key part in brand promotion, strategic marketing, and partnership development to enhance Ultra Uganda’s market presence.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Sales Leadership

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies across all product lines.

  • Lead business development efforts by identifying and engaging new clients including corporate bodies, government entities, NGOs, and SMEs.

  • Supervise the sales team and coordinate tasks to achieve revenue targets.

  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales performance.

Marketing & Brand Management

  • Design and execute the company’s overall marketing and digital strategy in alignment with business objectives.

  • Oversee campaigns across print, digital, and event platforms to boost brand visibility.

  • Promote the Ultra Uganda brand through storytelling, thought leadership, and creative content.

  • Explore partnership opportunities to extend the company's reach.

Digital Marketing

  • Plan, schedule, and publish engaging content across social media platforms.

  • Monitor and optimize digital engagement to ensure relevance and audience alignment.

  • Collaborate with media agencies, influencers, and other content partners.

  • Maintain and update the company website to ensure it remains fresh, user-friendly, and reflective of brand standards.


Reporting & Authority

  • Reports To: Marketing Director

  • Supervises: Sales and marketing department staff

  • Has the authority to allocate tasks and manage departmental workflow. All financial decisions must align with the company’s approval matrix.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in B2B sales and service-oriented marketing.

  • Strong digital marketing knowledge and hands-on experience with social media tools.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and business IT solutions.
