Job Title: Field Sales Manager – Kakiri

Job Purpose
As the Field Sales Manager – Kakiri, you will take the lead in driving sales growth within your assigned region. Your core responsibility will be to recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of Direct Sales Representatives, while ensuring exceptional customer engagement and satisfaction.
This is a field-based position reporting directly to the Regional Manager.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Sales Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor Direct Sales Representatives to ensure they deliver on sales targets and customer experience standards.
Territory Management: Execute and oversee end-to-end sales activities in your region, aligning with M-KOPA’s goals and strategies.
Customer Acquisition & Retention: Drive lead generation, effective pitching, customer profiling, and post-sales support to boost satisfaction and retention.
Performance Monitoring: Track and report on individual and team performance metrics on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Inventory Management: Maintain proper stock control and implement structured inventory practices at your assigned depot or location.
Credit Oversight: Monitor credit performance and ensure financial health in your area of responsibility.
Market Intelligence: Stay informed on competitor activity, customer needs, and market trends—and share insights with internal teams.
Community Engagement: Build strong local networks and partnerships to expand customer reach and increase sales volume.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in field sales, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire a results-driven team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate performance reports.
High integrity and ability to manage field operations independently.
Must be adaptable, proactive, and able to handle urgent, fast-paced field requirements.
