Job Description
Reporting to the Regional Manager, the TSR will be responsible for driving sales and expanding the client network within assigned agricultural territories. This includes meeting farmers daily, identifying their crop and soil needs, recommending tailored solutions, and closing sales while providing ongoing support. The TSR will also maintain accurate reporting via CRM systems, organize farmer engagement events, and grow the client’s footprint in the region. The role requires both technical agricultural knowledge and sales acumen, along with a passion for agri-business and building farmer relationships.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Visit 3–4 farmers daily to identify needs, conduct soil testing, recommend solutions, close sales, and provide follow-up support.
Plan and organize activities to segment and optimize the territory.
Build, maintain, and expand a customer portfolio.
Promote solutions through farmer events, WhatsApp groups, and other engagement channels.
Ensure accurate reporting via CRM updates and activity reports.
Meet and exceed sales targets as set by management.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
B.Com, B.Sc, or equivalent qualification (Agriculture, Business, or related).
Must reside within the territory.
An existing farmer/client network is advantageous.
Self-starter with a passion for agriculture and sales.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Eager to learn and thrive in a challenge-driven environment.
