Job Description
Lira University was established as a Public University by Statutory Instrument No.35, of July 18th 2015 to expand access to equitable quality Higher Education in the country and to respond to the critical Human Resource Development needs of the country. The University is governed by the Universities and Other Tertiary Institutions Act, 2001 as amended 2006 of the Republic of Uganda. The University is located in Lango Sub-region in Northern Uganda, Lira City. In order to fulfill the current mandate and to position the University to assist local community and build their capacity for socio economic enhancement, the university has to fill positions with personnel with required skills and experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in teaching and training within the Anesthesiology Department.
Support research and innovation activities.
Help disseminate knowledge related to anesthesiology.
Contribute to the delivery of appropriate health services.
Engage with the local community for socio-economic enhancement.

Qualifications and Competencies
The exact educational requirements are not specified, but a background in anesthesiology or related fields is likely necessary.
