Job Description
The Strategic Planning Analyst will be responsible for producing accurate financial forecasts based on workload, resource needs, and capacity plans to help meet operational and financial goals. The role includes supporting budgeting processes, identifying revenue variances, and presenting insights for performance improvement. The Analyst will also contribute to optimizing staffing, generating detailed analytical reports, and ensuring the successful implementation of Workforce Management (WFM) processes. The role requires attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain financial forecasts tied to workload and capacity plans
Support budgeting and financial planning with revenue-related inputs
Analyze revenue trends and monitor forecast accuracy to minimize variance
Identify and report on revenue leakage and underperformance
Assist with staffing optimization to enhance productivity
Create reports and presentations outlining revenue and performance insights
Participate in the development of revenue management policies
Act as a WFM subject matter expert in the absence of leadership
Assist with WFM implementation and process integration across the organization
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification with English and Mathematics
At least 1 month experience in a large Call Centre environment
Minimum 12 months in a Planning Analyst role
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Skills and Competencies:
