Job Description
The Storekeeper will be responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials and supplies. The role involves maintaining accurate stock records, coordinating with procurement teams, and ensuring warehouse safety and orderliness. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in warehouse operations and inventory control, especially within industrial or oil and gas sectors.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock and supplies.
Organize materials in designated storage areas.
Issue materials and supplies as per request and update stock records.
Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct routine stock audits.
Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or reordering needs.
Ensure cleanliness and safety compliance in the store/warehouse.
Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams for timely material availability.
Maintain documentation for incoming/outgoing goods and prepare inventory reports.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education: Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role; oil and gas sector experience is an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
Proficient in inventory management systems and MS Office.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
High level of integrity and accountability.
