Job Description
The Store Officer will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, ensuring proper storage of food items, monitoring expiration dates, and supporting procurement and usage tracking processes. This role requires someone detail-oriented, highly organized, and with a solid understanding of stock management within the food and hospitality sector. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in a similar role and be well-versed in best practices for food safety and store operations.

Receive, inspect, and store incoming food items and materials
Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts
Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of all items in the store
Monitor stock levels and initiate reorders as necessary
Enforce health and safety regulations for food storage
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the storage areas
Coordinate with procurement and kitchen teams to ensure timely supply of items
Generate and submit regular inventory and usage reports
Prevent wastage and pilferage through effective stock management
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Diploma in Stores Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
2–4 years of experience in a similar role within the food or hospitality industry
Strong knowledge of inventory control and food storage practices
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Proficient in record-keeping and use of inventory management systems
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Good communication and interpersonal skills
