Job Title: Store Keeper Attendant (A’ Level Jobs)

Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
The Store Keeper Attendant will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring accurate records of stock, and supporting the efficient operation of the company’s warehouse. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with experience in inventory management within the construction business.

How to Apply
As a Store Keeper Attendant, your duties will include:
Inventory Management:
Keep accurate records of all inventory and stock movement.
Monitor stock levels and alert management when supplies are running low.
Stock Handling:
Receive, inspect, and record deliveries of goods.
Organize and store stock in the warehouse to maximize space utilization and efficiency.
Customer and Team Support:
Work closely with the procurement and operations teams to meet project demands.
Assist in preparing and dispatching materials to different project sites as required.
Quality Control:
Ensure that all stored materials are in good condition and comply with company standards.
Conduct regular stock checks and audits to minimize discrepancies.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain and update inventory management records and reports.
Prepare and submit stock reports to management on a regular basis.
To be eligible for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
Education:
Must have completed S.6 (Senior Six).
Experience:
Proven experience in the construction business or a related field is required.
Familiarity with construction materials, tools, and inventory management processes is highly preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
Good communication skills to interact with team members and suppliers.
Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel is an added advantage.
Physical ability to handle warehouse tasks, such as lifting and organizing materials.
A team player with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
