Stock Controller (Fresher Jobs) Job at M-KOPA

Job Description
The Stock Controller at M-KOPA plays a crucial role in managing inventory and ensuring exceptional customer service at shop locations. As part of a dynamic retail team, you will oversee daily stock operations, facilitating the efficient movement of inventory to meet customer and field agent demands. This entry-level position is integral to maintaining smooth operations within M-KOPA's retail framework across Africa.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Inventory Management:
- Conduct daily stock counts by scanning available IMEIs and share results with the audit team for reconciliation
- Allocate stock to M-KOPA DSRs each day and follow up via phone to retrieve allocated devices that have been in the field for extended periods
- Ensure inventory is securely stored in appropriate lockers or store areas
- Receive stock from the main warehouse within expected timelines
- Return stock to the warehouse promptly when required
- Adhere to established stock management policies
- Customer Service:
- Assist customers with the upgrade process during their visits to the shop
- Resolve customer inquiries in person and log them in our system
- Escalate concerns that cannot be resolved to the responsible team
- Adhere to phone and customer service processes
- Be available at the shop/depot before 8:00 am for all working days
- Outlet/Shop Management:
- Maintain a clean and clutter-free shop environment at all times
- Keep the store/locker well-labeled based on standards
- Ensure depot/shop signage is always up and clean
