Job Description
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales Representative will prospect and onboard customers, promote CHINT/DELI product lines, execute route-to-market activities, and achieve set revenue, volume, and coverage targets. The role includes market mapping, merchandising follow-up, demand creation, and after-sales support. The post holder will prepare proposals and quotations, negotiate terms, maintain accurate sales records, and provide regular pipeline/market intelligence reports. Success requires excellent communication, C2C marketing experience, strong product knowledge in tools/equipment, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Generate new business through prospecting, referrals, and territory coverage.
Promote and sell DELI Equipment and other CHINT product lines to retailers, distributors, and end users.
Manage the full sales cycle: lead qualification, demos, quotations, negotiations, and closing.
Build and maintain relationships with key accounts; ensure repeat purchases and upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
Execute merchandising standards and ensure product availability and visibility at point of sale.
Conduct regular market visits to gather competitor and pricing intelligence; propose actions.
Prepare weekly/monthly sales plans, call reports, and forecasts; maintain CRM/sales records.
Coordinate deliveries, invoicing, and after-sales support with internal teams.
Achieve sales, margin, and coverage KPIs; manage timely collections where applicable.
Represent the brand at activations, trainings, and trade events.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
Proficiency in English.
Computer literacy: MS Excel and Word.
Experience
At least 3 years’ experience in C2C marketing/sales.
Knowledge of DELI Equipment and/or sales experience in the tool industry is an added advantage.
Strong understanding of retail and distribution channels.
Core Competencies
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently.
Territory planning, pipeline management, and reporting discipline.
Customer-centric mindset and problem-solving ability.
