The Site Station Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the petrol station, ensuring smooth functionality, exceptional customer service, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. This role involves managing staff, maintaining inventory, and optimizing overall station

How to Apply

Manage Station Operations & Performance

  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, including fuel and product availability.

  • Monitor and maintain automation systems, hygiene standards, and operational targets (UHOT).

  • Identify operational issues and escalate repair needs to the Territory Manager.

  • Track and manage miscellaneous expenses, including utility payments and security costs.


Staff Management & Training

  • Participate in hiring and onboarding of service station staff.

  • Manage, train, and evaluate staff performance.

  • Assign, schedule, and monitor staff tasks and duties.

  • Chair team meetings to ensure continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing.

  • Provide ongoing training on customer service and product knowledge.


Drive Sales & Customer Satisfaction

  • Achieve sales targets by promoting fuel, lubricants, LPG, and other services.

  • Handle customer complaints and resolve queries professionally.

  • Maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage loyalty and repeat visits.

  • Monitor site promotions and ensure staff engage customers effectively.


Inventory Control & Financial Management

  • Conduct inventory checks and ensure stock availability.

  • Report low stock levels and coordinate replenishment orders.

  • Handle daily cash collections from attendants and verify amounts.

  • Manage banking and prepare daily sales reports for the Territory Manager.


Health, Safety & Security Compliance

  • Enforce health and safety protocols, including handling of hazardous materials.

  • Participate in safety meetings and report injuries, spills, or hazards promptly.

  • Maintain the station’s premises in a clean, organized, and hazard-free condition.

  • Ensure security of station assets and equipment; report suspicious activity to management.

Education:

  • University Degree / Diploma Business Management, Retail, or a related field


Experience:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role is highly preferred.

  • Cash handling experience.
