Job Description
The Site Engineer will report directly to the Project Coordinator and be responsible for implementing project designs and construction schedules. They will oversee all site operations, ensuring compliance with company quality standards, efficient use of resources, and alignment with structural plans. The position requires close collaboration with internal teams and external consultants to deliver top-quality construction projects.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Execute project designs and manage construction schedules
Ensure strict adherence to project specifications and standards
Supervise masons, laborers, and other ad hoc site staff
Communicate and coordinate effectively with the project team and consultants
Ensure project implementation aligns with the company’s construction policies
Utilize the company’s project checklist for quality assurance
Optimize material and financial resource usage on-site
Minimize waste and manage resources efficiently
Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure compliance with design and engineering standards

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
HND or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Site Engineer in real estate or property construction
Professional certifications such as COREN, NSE, or equivalent (required)
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, project management, and quality assurance
Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
Strong organizational, leadership, and coordination skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
