Job Description
The Architect will develop conceptual and detailed architectural designs, blueprints, and 3D models for a variety of building projects. They will collaborate closely with clients to translate their needs into practical design solutions, conduct site evaluations, and ensure all projects comply with building codes, safety regulations, and zoning requirements. The Architect will also coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals throughout the construction phase, prepare cost estimates and project schedules, and provide ongoing supervision to resolve design-related issues as they arise.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Create architectural designs, plans, blueprints, and 3D models
Consult with clients to gather requirements and preferences
Conduct feasibility studies and site inspections
Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes, laws, and regulations
Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and contractors for project execution
Prepare project documentation including cost estimates and timelines
Monitor project progress and address design or structural issues during construction
Provide technical guidance and ensure design quality and consistency

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in architectural design and project management
Proficiency in architectural software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.)
Registration with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON)
Strong creative, technical, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects simultaneously
