Job Description
The Surveyor will carry out topographic, boundary, and construction surveys using GPS, Total Station, and other modern tools. They will prepare detailed maps, reports, and legal descriptions, verify property boundaries, and collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors for project execution. The Surveyor will also ensure that surveys meet applicable regulations and standards, maintain and calibrate surveying equipment, and handle field inspections and boundary dispute resolutions when needed.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Conduct topographic, boundary, and construction surveys using advanced tools
Prepare accurate survey reports, drawings, and legal documentation
Determine land boundaries for property and development purposes
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors in project planning and execution
Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry surveying standards
Calibrate and maintain surveying instruments and tools
Conduct site inspections and resolve land-related conflicts or disputes
Keep accurate survey records for future reference

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
HND or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related discipline
Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in land surveying
Proficient in the use of modern surveying equipment (e.g., Total Station, GPS)
Competent in surveying software and data processing tools
Registration with the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors (NIS) is an added advantage
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
