Job Description
The Services Account Manager plays a pivotal role in enhancing customer relationships by offering Sidel’s aftersales services and support. The incumbent is responsible for maximizing sales and margins, identifying customer needs, providing effective solutions, and maintaining high satisfaction levels. The role also involves coordinating service promotions, proposing new offerings, managing accounts receivables, and gathering market intelligence. A strong field presence and ability to resolve product non-conformities are also key components of the job.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and implement plans to grow service sales and profitability in assigned territory
Ensure maximum optimization of customer production lines
Address and resolve performance issues related to Sidel products
Recommend and sell new Sidel service offerings that provide value and generate profit
Negotiate and close service contracts following company guidelines
Plan and execute customer visits and promotional activities
Analyze market trends and competitor activity; provide regular sales forecasts and reports
Monitor and manage outstanding payments and overdue accounts
Maintain strong relationships with assigned customer accounts
Act as the main point of contact for aftersales support and service-related communication
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Good command of English (spoken and written)
At least 5 years of experience in sales and field operations (maintenance, production, or Field Service Engineering)
Preferred experience in the filling and packaging industry
Strong negotiation and customer relationship management skills
Ability and willingness to travel more than 50% of the time
