1.0 Invitation to Apply

The Public Service Commission invites applications from qualified, confirmed serving Public Officers in Ministries and Local Governments to fill vacant positions. Applicants must have been duly appointed and confirmed by the relevant National or Local Service Commission.

All applications must be submitted online via the e-recruitment portal by Monday, 3rd November 2025.

1.1 Mandatory Application Instructions

a) Applications must be submitted online only.
b) Upload the following documents in PDF format, each file not exceeding 1MB:

  • Bachelor’s degree and postgraduate transcripts/certificates (if applicable)

  • Professional qualifications

  • Appointment, confirmation, and promotion letters

  • ‘O’ and ‘A’ Level academic certificates

c) Download and print an Extract of PS Form 3 (2008), obtain a recommendation from your Responsible Officer, scan, and upload it with the other documents.
d) If you cannot obtain a recommendation, you may still submit your application but must include a written explanation.

  2. Click on "Register as a new user" and complete your profile (starting with Bio Data).

  3. If already registered, log in and update your profile.

  4. Select your preferred job from the advertised list.

  5. Click "Apply now" to view job details and submit your application.

1.3 Important Notes

    Academic transcripts and certificates (Degree, Diploma, ‘O’ and ‘A’ Level)
    Letters of appointment, confirmation, promotion, and deployment
    National Identity Card

  • Performance Appraisal Reports for the last three (3) financial years (2022/2023, 2023/2024, 2024/2025) must be submitted to the Commission before the interview.

  • The Public Service Commission will verify all academic and employment documents. Any candidate found to have submitted forged documents will face legal action and removal from Public Service.

How to Apply

The successful candidate will report to the Principal Records Officer and be responsible for:

  • Planning and coordinating day-to-day operations of the Registry

  • Developing and implementing classification schemes

  • Establishing registries and records centres

  • Coordinating the implementation of retention and disposal schedules

  • Providing on-the-job training for junior staff

  • Performing any other duties assigned from time to time
