Job Description
The Security Operations Centre (SOC) Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to cyber security incidents across the Bank’s IT environment. The role ensures continuous protection of systems, networks, and data in line with the Bank’s IT Security Policy, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events from SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, and other security tools.
- Investigate, analyze, and respond to security incidents and suspicious activities.
- Perform threat hunting and proactive security monitoring.
- Escalate and coordinate incident response activities with internal and external teams.
- Maintain and update incident response playbooks and procedures.
- Support vulnerability management and remediation efforts.
- Ensure security logs and evidence are properly documented and preserved.
- Support compliance with regulatory, audit, and internal security standards.
- Participate in disaster recovery, business continuity, and cyber resilience initiatives.
- Provide security awareness support and reporting to management.
