Job Description
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Implement the bank's security policy, enforcement of standards, controls, and regulatory procedures for physical security and safety
- Drive security programs and training for employees and stakeholders on security protocols and emergency procedures
- Conduct thorough analysis to identify root causes of security incidents and recommend preventive measures
- Develop a culture of security awareness through regular security awareness programs
- Assess security risks and ensure appropriate measures are in place to protect bank property and persons
- Investigate internal incidents, security breaches, and policy violations to determine facts and recommend remedial actions
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies on incidents requiring legal intervention
- Monitor CCTV systems and security cameras and report any malfunctions or incidents to management
- Conduct regular security risk assessments and snap checks to deter criminal activity
- Liaise with contracted security companies to manage deployment and rotation of security guards
- Prepare security reports and present to the Risk Management Committee
