Sales Representative Job at RukaPay

Job Description
The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving merchant acquisition, expanding market presence, and growing revenue by promoting RukaPay’s digital payment solutions. The role requires a highly motivated, goal-oriented individual with strong sales skills and the ability to build long-term client relationships.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new merchants across assigned territories
- Promote and present RukaPay’s digital payment solutions, including QR, NFC, USSD (*289#), and wallet services
- Conduct product demonstrations and onboarding sessions for new merchants
- Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants to ensure long-term engagement
- Negotiate terms, close sales, and ensure successful activation of merchants
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Collect market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor insights
- Prepare and submit regular sales performance and pipeline reports
- Collaborate with internal teams to support merchant onboarding and issue resolution
- Represent RukaPay professionally at field activations, events, and promotional activities
