Job Description
The Sales Persons will be responsible for engaging with customers to understand their needs, providing detailed product information, and guiding them through the sales process. They will be expected to showcase Alijeda’s furniture products, negotiate prices, and close sales to meet individual and company targets. The role includes actively promoting the company’s products, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a professional and customer-friendly image of the company. Sales Persons will also help manage customer inquiries, handle after-sales service, and maintain accurate records of sales activities.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Engage with customers to understand their furniture needs and preferences.
Provide detailed information about Alijeda’s products, including pricing and features.
Assist customers in selecting the appropriate furniture for their needs.
Negotiate sales terms and close deals to meet sales targets.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships for repeat business.
Offer exceptional customer service, including post-sales support.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings and industry trends.
Record and manage sales activities, ensuring proper follow-up on customer inquiries.
Contribute to achieving company sales goals and targets.
Maintain a clean and organized sales environment.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong product knowledge, particularly in furniture.
Sales and negotiation skills to close deals effectively.
Exceptional customer service skills to build lasting relationships.
Previous sales experience is an added advantage.
Knowledge of the local market and customer preferences.
Fluency in local languages such as Luganda and other dialects is a plus.
Professional certification in sales, marketing, or interior design is an added advantage.
