Job Description
The Sales Executive will work within the Business Development unit to identify new sales opportunities, build relationships with B2B and B2C clients, and support the execution of product marketing plans. Responsibilities include managing key accounts, tracking performance against sales targets, collecting market intelligence, and supporting product launches. The role requires a results-driven, self-motivated individual with excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Candidates should have a strong understanding of healthcare industry dynamics, product distribution, and commercial positioning.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Identify, engage, and grow B2B and B2C clients including pharmacies, hospitals, institutions, and distributors.
Promote the company’s product portfolio by presenting tailored value propositions to clients.
Monitor sales performance and execute territory action plans to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Collect market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing strategies, and demand trends.
Coordinate with regulatory, supply chain, and customer service teams to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.
Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, and field activations.
Maintain accurate records of sales visits, opportunities, and client communications using CRM tools.
Submit timely weekly and monthly sales reports to the Business Development Manager.
Support the launch of new products and market penetration strategies.
Uphold company values, compliance guidelines, and ethical marketing practices.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Academic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field.
Experience and Competencies:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales, account management, or product promotion within the pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or diagnostics industry.
Excellent selling, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong knowledge of healthcare market dynamics, distribution models, and product positioning.
Self-driven with strong organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to travel and work independently in a field-based role.
