Job Title: Sales and Marketing Specialist

The Sales and Marketing Specialist will play a key role in driving revenue growth through strategic marketing initiatives, lead generation, and direct sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales, IT solutions marketing, and client engagement within East Africa’s technology sector.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth.

  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in target markets (ICT, government, enterprise, education, etc.).

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support business positioning.

  • Plan and coordinate marketing campaigns, events, exhibitions, and product promotions.

  • Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and pitch decks tailored to client needs.

  • Collaborate with technical and product teams to align solutions with market demand.

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and customer interactions in CRM tools.

  • Represent Orison Solutions at industry events and trade fairs across East Africa.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B sales or IT solution marketing.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Familiarity with ICT, cybersecurity, or enterprise software solutions is a plus.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to travel across the region when required.
