Job Description
Job Title: Sales and Marketing Officer
Organisation: Jinja Sailing Club (1995) Ltd
Duty Station: Jinja, Uganda
Reports to: Manager
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic, customer-oriented Sales and Marketing Officer to help grow our brand and connect our services with new and existing clients.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and implement creative and results-driven sales and marketing strategies to promote the Club’s services.
Receive and respond to customer calls and inquiries, providing accurate and helpful information about services and bookings.
Manage and follow up on client reservations/bookings in a professional and timely manner.
Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with corporate organizations and institutions to drive business growth.
Oversee social media platforms, update website content, and execute digital marketing campaigns to boost visibility.
Organize and coordinate promotional activities, events, and campaigns to increase guest engagement.
Prepare periodic marketing reports and client feedback summaries to inform business decisions.
Drive continuous growth by identifying new market opportunities and strengthening the Club’s presence in the hospitality industry.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales or marketing, preferably in the hospitality sector.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a talent for customer service.
Proven experience in managing bookings and driving revenue growth.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
Highly organized, self-driven, and goal-oriented.
