Job Description
Job Title: Research Assistant (6 No Experience Jobs)
Organisation: Rakai Health Sciences Program (RHSP)
Duty Station: Kalisizo, Uganda
The research assistant shall participate in health education of study participants, data collection, documentation, informed consent process to ensure that high quality data produced in a timely manner.
The research assistant will support the research team by ensuring logistics and supplies, identifying households and participants per protocol, conducting and recording interviews, managing consent processes, engaging with community members respectfully, and accurately completing and verifying data collection forms.

Responsibilities:
Ensure availability of supply and logistics
Asking questions, probing and recording responses
Respectfully handling and dealing with study participants
Completing surveys and questionnaires in accordance with protocols
Education:
Certificate or diploma in social work, social sciences, counselling, education, secretarial studies or computer science or information technology or a certificate in nursing/midwifery, from a reputable institution.
Skills:
Fluent in Luganda
Ability to use a computer
Nice to have
Good Communication skills
Teamwork/Team building skills
Strong analytical skills
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to work under minimum supervision
