Job Description
The Relationship Manager (Investment) will focus on building and nurturing relationships with high-net-worth clients, particularly those with a minimum Client Asset Base/AUM of ₦100M. The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, provide investment and financial advisory services, and ensure that clients receive exceptional customer experience. This role requires strong business development skills, financial product knowledge, and a proven ability to achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets. The RM will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of client transactions and service delivery.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Build, manage, and grow relationships with high-net-worth clients.
Identify and pursue new investment and business opportunities.
Provide tailored financial and investment solutions aligned with client needs.
Conduct client needs analysis and prepare appropriate recommendations.
Achieve sales targets and drive consistent revenue growth.
Monitor client portfolios to ensure satisfaction, retention, and long-term value.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client service delivery.
Represent the company professionally at client meetings and networking events.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Experience:
Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in relationship management, investment advisory, or sales within the financial services sector.
Proven ability to manage high-net-worth clients (minimum CABAL/AUM ₦100M).
Demonstrated track record of achieving and surpassing sales/revenue targets.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of financial products and investment solutions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to analyze client needs and provide tailored solutions.
High emotional intelligence, interpersonal skills, and client service orientation.
Strong problem-solving ability and commercial acumen.
