Job Description
The Supply Manager will coordinate supply schedules, manage inventory, and oversee the end-to-end LPG distribution process. This includes liaising with depots, vendors, and transport providers to ensure efficiency and reliability. The successful candidate will maintain accurate supply records, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and analyze data to improve performance and reduce costs. Additionally, the Supply Manager will play a critical role in identifying supply chain gaps and implementing solutions to support Mezovest’s business growth.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and manage LPG supply schedules to meet customer demand.
Coordinate with depots, vendors, and transport teams for timely product delivery.
Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Negotiate supplier contracts and ensure compliance with agreed terms.
Maintain detailed supply transaction and delivery records.
Enforce safety standards and regulatory compliance across all operations.
Analyze supply chain data, preparing performance, cost, and risk reports for management.
Identify inefficiencies in supply chain operations and recommend improvements.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in supply chain, logistics, or distribution (preferably in the LPG or energy sector).
Skills & Competencies:
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Excellent organizational, planning, and coordination abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis/reporting tools.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
