Job Description
JOB OPPORTUNITY: REGIONAL ACCOUNTS OFFICER
Location: Mbale, Uganda
Company: Uzima Microfinance Uganda Ltd.
Reports to: Finance & Administration Manager
POSITION: REGIONAL ACCOUNTS OFFICER
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our finance team as a Regional Accounts Officer. This position plays a critical role in maintaining sound financial practices, ensuring compliance, and supporting branch-level financial operations within the region.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA or ACCA certification is an added advantage
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, with at least 1–2 years in microfinance or banking
Strong understanding of financial management controls, fraud detection, and risk mitigation
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
High level of integrity and accountability
