The Role
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team. Reporting directly to the Hotel Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guests feel welcomed, informed, and well-served during their stay.

How to Apply
Key Responsibilities
Answer, screen, and forward calls via the telephone switchboard, providing accurate information and taking messages.
Greet guests upon arrival, assess the purpose of their visit, and guide or escort them to their destinations.
Process payments and issue receipts for services provided.
Handle inquiries from customers or the public by analyzing data and providing relevant information.
Maintain filing systems and efficiently organize records.
Perform various administrative tasks, including proofreading and managing documents on computer systems.
Preferred Duties
Address and resolve complaints from guests or the public.
Sort and distribute mail, messages, or courier deliveries.
Education: Post-secondary diploma in Hotel Management or related fields.
Experience: 2-3 years of experience as a receptionist or in a similar role.
Skills: Strong proficiency in speaking, active listening, service orientation, critical thinking, and coordination.
Knowledge: Familiarity with customer service best practices and basic computer and electronics use.
Language Proficiency: Fluent in both English and Luganda.
