Job Description
Reporting to the Program Controller, the Quality Assurance Lead ensures that all solutions delivered meet quality expectations before deployment. This role involves developing test plans, executing test scenarios, preparing defect and issue reports, and collaborating with project teams and vendors to resolve quality concerns. The incumbent will provide technical leadership in testing, support deployments, and enforce adherence to quality assurance standards and methodologies.

How to Apply
Prepare test plans, scenarios, and test cases in collaboration with stakeholders.
Track defects, bugs, and issues; follow up with project team members for timely resolution.
Actively participate in review meetings and Change Advisory Board (CAB) sessions to present testing approaches and outcomes.
Create test data, configure test environments, and execute automated tests during builds and deployments.
Support application and project teams during deployment of patches or release packages.
Provide progress reports to the Test Lead, Project Manager, and other stakeholders.
Take on Test Lead responsibilities when required, liaising with vendors, external QA experts, and development teams to resolve defects.

Education: University degree in Computer Science, Business Computing, Computer Engineering, Information Technology/Systems, or related field.
Certifications:
Software Quality Assurance certification required.
Project Management certification is an added advantage.
Experience:
At least 3 years’ working experience, with at least 1 year in a quality assurance/testing role.
Minimum 2 years in systems automation testing, QA lifecycle management, or related testing functions in a dynamic IT environment.
Experience with Financial Institution Applications, Fintech Solutions, and Integrations.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience with programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.).
Familiarity with IDEs (Visual Studio Code, Atom, NetBeans, Android Studio, etc.).
Database knowledge (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or others).
Soft Skills:
Strong logical and creative problem-solving ability.
Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
