Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.
Conduct quality training programs to all employees with emphasis on product quality, customer feedback and continuous improvement through identification and analysis of customer requirements.
Create and implement systems that ensure quality within the manufacturing process aimed at preventing defective products and reprocessing of products.
Accountable for disposition of non–conforming product based on quality checks/ and inspection results.
Participate in root causes and corrective actions from product quality defects/ consumer/ customer complaints and implement corrective actions with plant operations team.
Routine inspection of all measuring devices to ensure accuracy
Ensure proper housekeeping by immediately informing the shift leader of any areas observed that do not conform to the set standards.
Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to shift leader.
Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
