Job Description
The Quality Assurance Assistant will support the implementation, maintenance and continuous development of our Quality Management System (QMS) within Target Malaria. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, internal SOPs, and international guidelines (e.g., GCP, GLP, ISO) across all project functions. The incumbent will report to the Quality Assurance Officer.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, review, and maintenance of documentation in the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Support the preparation and coordination of internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standard, in accordance with our annual audit schedule.
- Assist with quality control activities.
- Monitor and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
- Keep up to date with all relevant quality and research ethics legislation and compliance requirements.
- Help coordinate training sessions and assist with maintaining training records for staff.
- Support the implementation of risk management practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QMS.
- Collaborate closely with all project functions at a local and global level to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Any other duties commensurate with the grade of the post as directed by the project PI and/or Manager.
