Job Description
The QHSE/Nutritionist will play a dual role focused on ensuring quality, hygiene, safety, and nutritional standards in food production and service delivery. This position supports both Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) requirements and personalized nutritional guidance for clients. The ideal candidate will be proactive in monitoring food quality, developing nutrition plans, and promoting healthy eating practices while ensuring compliance with food safety protocols.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Food Quality & Safety
- Ensure that high food quality and safety standards are maintained at all times
- Monitor food sample collection by laboratory staff and maintain accurate records
- Verify quality and safety conditions of all raw materials upon receipt
- Oversee food production conditions to ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines
- Carry out monthly food tests to assess quality and safety
- Ensure a high standard of hygiene throughout food storage, preparation, and service areas
- Support implementation of corrective and preventive actions related to food safety
Nutritionist Duties
- Develop and help implement personalized nutrition plans tailored to individual client needs, preferences, and budgets
- Provide professional advice and ongoing support to clients on how to stay healthy and achieve their nutrition goals
- Oversee the nutrition consultation calendar to ensure efficient scheduling and follow‑up
- Simplify complex nutrition information for clients and explain the benefits of healthy dietary habits
- Help clients establish short‑ and long‑term health and diet goals
- Stay updated on the latest nutritional science, diets, and trends to inform best practices
- Teach the public and other health professionals about nutrition through articles, seminars, and group sessions
- Manage and maintain nutritious food production on site, ensuring balance between taste, dietary value, and food safety
- Support inventory management by indenting provisions and ensuring proper storage and optimal usage
