Job Description
Job Title: Public Health Dental Officer
Organisation: Xclusive Uganda
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Examine patients and diagnose dental conditions.
Perform general dentistry procedures such as fillings, root canals, extractions, and cleanings.
Provide preventive dental services and oral hygiene instruction to patients.
Oversee the maintenance of dental equipment and supplies
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, public health guidelines, and institutional policies.
Coordinate with the clinical team for integrated patient care.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Diploma in Public Health Dentistry from an accredited institution.
Registered and licensed with Allied Health Professionals.
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
Previous experience as a dental assistant is a plus.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
