Job Description

Job Title:  Public Health Dental Officer

Organisation: Xclusive Uganda

Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Examine patients and diagnose dental conditions.

  • Perform general dentistry procedures such as fillings, root canals, extractions, and cleanings.

  • Provide preventive dental services and oral hygiene instruction to patients.

  • Oversee the maintenance of dental equipment and supplies

  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records

  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, public health guidelines, and institutional policies.

  • Coordinate with the clinical team for integrated patient care.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

  • Diploma in Public Health Dentistry from an accredited institution.

  • Registered and licensed with Allied Health Professionals.

  • Previous experience as a dental assistant is a plus.

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
