Job Description
The Project Officer (Social Worker) will play a key role in planning, implementing, and monitoring projects aimed at supporting women’s empowerment. This includes working closely with communities, providing direct support to beneficiaries, managing project documentation, and ensuring compliance with donor and organizational requirements. The role requires strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.

Implement and oversee community-based projects that promote women’s empowerment.
Provide social support and counseling to beneficiaries.
Conduct outreach and engagement with community members and stakeholders.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of project activities.
Collaborate with teams to ensure project objectives are met effectively.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Community Development, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience working with an international NGO is an added advantage.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
