How to Apply

Oversees the overall planning, implementation, reporting, and monitoring of the project interventions

Together with Salanga the monitoring consultants and project MEAL develop gender and SRHR sensitive indicators to assess the project impact
Ensure that the effective monthly Data collection and timely upload in Kinaki software data analysis system for effective Data disaggregation and accurate reporting
Ensure regular documentation of lessons learned and best practices based on a gender responsive SRHR programing approach
The project manager should ensure that the project has a functional feedback mechanism clearly understood by the key partners, local government,
Ability to identify opportunities contributing to proposal development gender and SRHR programming
Must engage in SRHR and gender policies dialogues contributing to SRHR and gender policy reviews
Oversee and strengthen the community led monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning groups to effectively advocate for gender equality, Health and SRHR services
Organize and lead gender sensitive training for TOGETHER staff , partners, and community action groups – COLMEAL groups
Ensure implementation of male engagement strategies to promote gender equitable SRHR practices
The TOGETHER manager should ensure that the project beneficiaries access gender
Responsible for financial cash flow planning and expenditure monitoring, approval of expenditures and related cost allocations, on the basis of approved project budgets.
Human Resource Management (team level) for all staff and volunteers under the Programme.
Supervision and periodical evaluation of the performance of the staff members of the Programme Team.
Maintaining effective coordination and participation in the Donor’s planning and follow up meetings
Organize weekly project management meetings and participation in the monthly HQ program PROCOM meetings
Stakeholders Engagement, Networking and Collaboration/Community engagement
Take overall lead in the coordination with key stakeholders such as Ministry of health, Ministry of Educatoon
Ensure close collaboration and networking with ADRA Uganda consortium partners Mildmay and Straight Talk Foundation
Ensure effective Coordination and networking with the community of practice organizations-CARE, RIGHT to Play and Oxfam
Ensure effective collaboration with the local government, culture and religion leaders and other partners at field level
Regular participation in the health and protection cluster meetings at local and national levels
Mobilize and facilitate the engagements of stakeholders during planning and development meetings, workshops, and other fora.
Ensure integration of project with other ongoing activities including that of ADRA Uganda and governments.
Documentation, Reporting, and knowledge management
Network and collaborate with District Local Government, OPM, UNHCR and other relevant stakeholders in the Project Area.
Writes and submits comprehensive quarterly progress reports, specific activity reports, and any other reports when necessary to supervisor in a timely manner.
Reporting – monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including realization of activities versus budget utilization; (Providing input to) narrative and financial Programme reporting.
Semiannual and Annual reviews of progress towards project objectives.
Take lead in documentation and sharing of Impact/success stories and best practices to promote learning.
Organize quarterly review meetings for partners and communities at the project sites to reflect on project approaches, tools, impact of interventions, best practices, exit and sustainability strategies as well as create spaces and opportunities for action-learning
A Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health or any other relevant course.
At least seven years’ experience in field-based programme management roles.
At least three years’ experience working with vulnerable communities and familiarity with humanitarian programming and implementation
Experience in Monitoring & Evaluation.
Capacity/potential in leadership, relationship management/networking, and coordination.
Good interpersonal skills, strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proven conceptual & analytical skills, ability to take an evidence-based approach to programme design.
Proven facilitation skills.
Track record demonstrating high integrity, innovativeness, creativity, reliability and dependable
Proactive personality, self-driven and strongly motivated.
