Job Description
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee the profiling and selection of millers based on capacity, market performance, and gender/youth inclusion criteria.
- Build structured procurement linkages between millers and institutional buyers.
- Enhance farmer–miller relationships through contract farming and warehouse receipt systems.
- Partner with financial institutions to develop tailored credit solutions for millers.
- Provide technical assistance and mentorship to millers regarding fortification systems and UNBS standards.
- Guide policy review and advocacy efforts for food fortification and wholegrain standards.
- Promote youth- and women-friendly business regulations within the sector.
- Conduct research to assess business viability, market demand, and supply chain efficiency.
