How to Apply
Provide leadership, management and technical support in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation and reporting on all activities of the program in North-eastern Uganda.
Responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, monitoring, and reporting on all program activities in the region in collaboration with and under the guidance and direction of the project manager.
Lead the supervision and coordination of work done at the district level, provide the staff with technical assistance that will facilitate efficient and effective implementation of project activities.
Preparing monthly work plans and budgets to be submitted to the project manager.
Ensuring financial control and budget adherence in all program operations in collaboration with the manger.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial/ narrative progress reports
Ensure safety and security of the program personnel and assets in the

Organize and conduct Program Steering Committee Meetings, staff meetings as regularly as may be required.
Initiate and participate in relevant networks that supplement the realization of the program objectives.
Organize needs assessment exercise and baseline survey
Coordinate and assign development of program proposal and ensure timely submission to the desk officer.
Represent the program and ADRA Uganda at various forums within Northern Uganda operational area and other higher level as may be assigned by the desk officer.
Regularly, prepare case stories that will systematically document challenges, achievements lessons learnt and good practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Social sciences, development studies or any other relevant course
Should have 5 years of progressive working experience in similar role
Fluent in English
Ability to communicate and interact well with people from different educational, religious backgrounds
Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time
Ability to fluently speak the local-native language of the Karamojong community
Ability to ride a motorcycle and poses a valid riding permit
Ability to operate in all project areas of Karamoja and North Uganda
