Job Description
The Procurement & Logistics Officer will be responsible for overseeing the entire procurement lifecycle—from supplier management to quality control—while also handling logistics functions such as warehousing, customs compliance, and tracking. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent analytical skills, strong negotiation capabilities, and a thorough understanding of logistics and procurement in the IT hardware domain.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Procurement Responsibilities:
Manage supplier relationships and performance
Develop and execute procurement plans
Raise and manage purchase orders
Negotiate prices and contract terms
Oversee quality control and ensure goods meet required standards
Maintain inventory and stock levels efficiently
Ensure procurement processes comply with company and regulatory standards
Logistics Responsibilities:
Coordinate logistics activities to ensure timely delivery
Oversee warehousing operations
Prepare and maintain shipping and customs documentation
Ensure compliance with local and international logistics regulations
Track shipments and provide timely reports
Collaboration and Support:
Work cross-functionally with other departments to support operational needs
Address and resolve procurement and logistics issues promptly
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years' experience in procurement and logistics management, preferably in the IT hardware industry
In-depth understanding of procurement and inventory systems
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
