Job Description
A reputable manufacturing company based in Kampala is seeking to recruit a Printing Supervisor
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Supervise daily printing operations on plastic products (e.g., flexographic, rotogravure, or screen printing).
- Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery deadlines are met.
- Monitor print quality, color consistency, registration, and overall output.
- Lead, train, and motivate printing machine operators and support staff.
- Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot printing machines as required.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality Control, and Maintenance teams.
- Ensure proper use of inks, solvents, plates, and other printing materials.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations within the printing area.
- Maintain production records, reports, and downtime analysis.
- Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, waste reduction, and quality.
