Job Description
Job Title: Pre-Sales IT Executive
Organisation: Spidd Africa
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Spidd Africa Uganda is seeking a skilled and driven Pre-Sales IT Resource with at least 3 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will work alongside the sales team to provide technical expertise and support during the sales process. You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, presenting tailored solutions, and demonstrating how our products and services can effectively address these needs.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Collaborate with the sales team to analyze client requirements and deliver technical solutions.
Develop and present technical proposals, product demonstrations, and presentations to prospective clients.
Respond to RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and RFIs (Requests for Information).
Provide technical expertise during client meetings and sales calls.
Work closely with the delivery team to ensure a smooth handover of solutions post-sale.
Assist in defining and documenting technical specifications and solution architectures.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
Stay current with technology trends and new developments to offer the best solutions to clients.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum of 3 years of experience in pre-sales support, IT solutions, or technical sales.
Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and solutions (cloud, networking, security, etc.).
Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Experience with creating and delivering presentations, demos, and technical documentation.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Knowledge of [specific software, platforms, or industry relevant to your company] is an advantage.
[Preferred] Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
