1. Flock Management & Health:

• Supervise all aspects of poultry care including feeding, watering, vaccination, and medication programs.

• Monitor flock health daily, identify illnesses early, and coordinate treatments with veterinarians.

• Maintain ideal environmental conditions in poultry housing (temperature, ventilation, humidity, lighting).

• Ensure compliance with high animal welfare standards.

2. Production & Performance:

• Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as mortality rates, feed conversion ratios (FCR), weight gain, and egg production.

• Collect, analyze, and report production data to identify trends and optimize performance.

• Develop strategies to enhance growth rates and overall flock productivity.

3. Operational Management:

• Prepare and manage the farm’s operational budget, controlling costs including feed, labor, and utilities.

• Manage inventory of feed, medications, equipment, and supplies.

• Oversee maintenance and repairs of facilities, equipment, and vehicles.

• Ensure proper waste management and environmental compliance.

4. Biosecurity & Compliance:

• Implement and enforce strict biosecurity protocols to prevent disease outbreaks.

• Ensure farm operations comply with all relevant regulations (local, national, FDA, USDA, EPA).

• Maintain accurate records of flock health, medication, production data, and compliance audits.

• Prepare for and coordinate third-party audits and inspections.

5. Staff Management & Leadership:

• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise farm staff.

• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development.

• Ensure staff adherence to SOPs, safety guidelines, and animal welfare standards.
