Job Description
Ryan HC Hospital is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to support the Pharmacy Department in dispensing medications, managing stock, and ensuring safe, efficient pharmaceutical services for patients.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescribed medications to patients accurately.
- Receive, label, and organize medicines and pharmaceutical supplies.
- Maintain proper storage conditions for drugs in line with regulatory standards.
- Support inventory management, stock counts, and re-ordering of medicines.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area.
- Handle patient queries regarding medication use under pharmacist supervision.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
- Adhere strictly to hospital policies, professional ethics, and confidentiality requirements.
- Support quality assurance and safety procedures in the pharmacy.
