Job Summary:
The Pharmacist will serve as the technical lead for pharmaceutical services, overseeing hospital logistics related to general supplies, medicines, nursing, and medical supplies to ensure reliable, safe, and high-quality service delivery. The role contributes to the achievement of Mildmay Hospital’s strategic objectives through effective medicines management, support to program development, and promotion of organizational learning. The post holder will ensure quality program implementation, participate in research, build staff capacity, and foster sustainable partnerships. Additionally, the pharmacist will support new business development and contribute to the continued growth of Mildmay Hospital as a leader in delivering quality health care for all

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor of Pharmacy from a recognised university; Post Graduate qualification in a health related field/Pharmaceutical Logistics management is an added advantage.
Candidate must be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Uganda (PSU)
Job-related experience and knowledge:
Candidate must have at least 3 years of practical experience in Pharmaceutical services
Knowledge and experience in drug Logistics and supply chain management,
Experience in HIV health systems strengthening programming and Research experience
